why do people say the words "I love you" to another so sweepingly. you may say, "we're truly in love, it was love at first sight" but do you realise how shaky those words are and how meaningless "Love" becomes?
why do people say this to the person that they get into a new relationship with every week or so? i wish people could treasure themselves more. I don't even know how I could bring myself to say "I love you" to someone i really don't love at all.
this girl, i think the one she really likes is *that* guy i know. but she's getting herself into random relationships because she thinks she isn't good enough for that guy. just look at him. he's so perfect and rich and look at me. I'm ugly and what do I have?
Nevermind about that guy. I'll tell you what love is.
True love, is to DIE for someone. to SACRIFICE all the things you love, give that person everything you have, and when that person abandons you and mocks you, you still do the same for that person, and when that person is sad, he or she will then realise you are the only one who truly loves him/her. would YOU do that? I doubt so.
but you know what? someone did just that for you. someone went through hell to bring HEAVEN to you, no matter how ugly or corrupt or dirty or "not good enough" you are, that person did it all. he doesn't care that you think you are "not good enough" or "undeserving" because he did it FOR YOU.
that person, is JESUS.
"but Jesus didn't die for me, he died for a whole lot of other people too."

do you know how much it breaks his heart when you say that? don't underestimate the love of God. it is different and personal enough for everyone. it is more than enough. we are humans. we will never be able to comprehend the full extent of his love for us, and so, because the BIBLE says he loves us, and since the BIBLE is written by GOD, and since GOD CANNOT lie, surely, he loves you just as much as He says He does.
"But why isn't my life changing? why can't I see Jesus? why do others' lives look better than mine?"

STOP looking at others. look at the cross. it is true, people may appear to be better off than you are, but what lasts on earth DOESN'T LAST IN HEAVEN. it isn't eternal. and if you want it, you can always ask GOD for it. just believe. dont care about anyone else except for you and JESUS. trust in HIS decisions, HIS PLANS. do your best, and let GOD do the rest. if you doubt, know that it is JESUS's faith that sustains you. not yours.

"but why only me? why is it only me that's made to go through this?"

believe that you are special. everyone around you looks like they're livin' it up, but the truth is, one day, the world will see that GOD's chosen people are different. YOU will rise up to be great, and mighty, because GOD has chosen YOU, even if you think you "won't make it". ITS A LIE. HE has chosen YOU.
Believe in it.
